Standard GB9254-2008 has already issued and will be implemented in Sep.1,2009.To insure rule of compulsory product certification system implemented effectively, according to 'Notice of related question of compulsory product certification if related standard revised', now issue related requirement of compulsory product certification for information technology equipment, telecommunication terminals and wireless LAN products.

1.Specified inspection items of 'Implementation rules for compulsory certification of electrical and electronic products-information technology equipment'(No.CNCA-01C-020:2007),'Implementation rules for compulsory certification of electrical and electronic products-telecommunication terminals'(No.CNCA-08C-031:2007),'Implementation rules for compulsory certification of wireless LAN products-wireless LAN products(CNCA-11C-048:2007) and 'Implementation rules for compulsory certification of electrical and electronic products-finance and trade settlement electronic equipment products'(CNCA-01C-21:2001), which related to standard GB9254 will be revised as following:
Power terminal conduct disturbance, telecommunication terminal conduct disturbance, radiation disturbance below and over 1GHz.
Above rules will be implemented in Sep.1,2009.

2.From issue date to Aug.31,2009,applicant may apply for certification according to standard GB9254-2008(call 'new edition' after)or stand GB9254-1998(call 'old edition' after).(http://china-ccc-certification.com/178.html).
According to requirement of new edition, Term 6.2,9.6.2.c)1) and 10.6 will be implemented in 18 months after new edition has been implemented, which is Mar.1,2010.It may be inspected as above if applicant requires to before Mar.1,2010.Content of 'power wiring' downward path to'use method of Term 9.3-use limits in Table 1 or 2'in Fig.C.6 Flow chart of choosing test method will be implement later than schedule. Specified date will be notified in other day.

3.For certificated products according to old edition, old certification holder will finish transforming of new certification before Sep.1,2010. (http://china-ccc-certification.com/178.html). Products/equipment with telecommunication port should be inspected according to new edition, no telecommunication port products don't need to be inspected, new certification will be issued. Not having finished certification changing before Sep.1,2010, old certificate will be stopped by certification administration. Not having finished certification changing before Nov.30,2010, certificate will be canceled.

4.For certificated products that have been out of factory, put into market and no longer been produced, there is no need to transform certificate.

5.To insure the work of certificate transformation being done successfully, certification administration should make specific implement documents of new edition according to requirements above, and take effective measures to notify related requirements to old certificate holders in time, urge them to submit certificate transform application and sample test as soon as possible, so that certificate transformation can be finished before deadline.

6.Certification administration should report to certification supervision department quarterly about certificate transformation (including rate of certificate changing and problems exist),so that we can obtain the progress of certificate transformation.

7.All the related designated laboratory should prepare inspection resource earlier according to new edition and report to certification supervision department about the condition of inspection capacity according to new edition and laboratory qualification designation and accreditation before Aug.31,2009.We will invite related experts to check the place and capacity of inspection by laboratory in proper time.
