Official participants will enjoy following preferential measures of customs during 2010 World Expo.
1. For exhibits and equipment conform to regulations of 'Customs appendix', will be accepted as Admission Temporaire Temporary Admission Goods. For those to be reshipped out of China after 2010 World Expo will be exempt from custom duties and import VAT.
2. Building decoration materials and fixed installing equipment imported by participants for construction and arrangement of pavilions in expo zone will be exempt from custom duties and import VAT.
3. Non-commercial documents imported by participants like propaganda materials and design drawings, which is used in expo zone and not entered into domestic market, will be exempt from custom duties and import VAT in reasonable quantity.
4. Crafts and flavor food, which have to be imported by participants for demonstrations in expo zone during 2010 World Expo, will be exempt from custom duties and import VAT in reasonable quantity and total value.
5. Foreign staffs of official participants, who will live in China for not more than 183 days during 2010 World Expo, whose payment obtained for expo participation work in expo zone will be exempt from personal income tax.
