Notice on New Edition Implementation Rules and Standard GB/T 19483-2016 Execution for Telecommunication Terminal Devices(Cordless Telephone Terminals) Compulsory Certification

The standard GB/T 19483-2016 Requirements and measurement methods of electromagnetic compatibility for cordless telephone(hereinafter referred to as New Edition Standard),on which compulsory certification of telecommunication terminal devices(cordless telephone terminals) products shall be based,has been issued on April 25,2016,which will be implemented on November 1,2016,and substitute for standard GB 19483-2004(hereinafter referred to as Old Edition Standard).Hereby clarified as follows on relevant requirements on new edition implementation rules and standard execution for telecommunication terminal devices(cordless telephone terminals),in order to guarantee the effective implementation of product compulsory certification system.
1.Standard GB/T 19483-2016 will substitute for standard GB 19483-2004 since the date of implementation;
2.See attachments for the specific differentials between standard GB/T 19483-2016 and GB 19483-2004.Natural substitution means will be adopted during the implementation of compulsory certification for products.In case that the following conditions are met for the products since the date of issuing this notice:
1)New application requiring inspection for all items;or
2)Alteration application involving inspection for differential items;
EMC inspection shall be performed according to GB/T 19483-2016,the certification certificates will be issued.
3.For those apply for extension of existing certification results,the certification clients may voluntarily choose to either renew the certification certificates according to Old Edition Standard(GB 19483-2004) or perform inspection according to New Edition Standard(GB/T 19483-2016) and issue new certification certificates after that.
4.Follow-up inspection after obtaining certification shall be implemented according to the edition of standards listed in the valid CCC certification certificates.
5.Requirements on new edition standard execution for telecommunication terminal devices(cordless telephone terminals) compulsory certification in respect to this announcement shall not exempt from liabilities that relevant products shall meet relevant rules in the Standardization Law of the People's Republic of China.
