Announcement on Compulsory Certification Implementation Standard of New Edition for Electromechanical Contactors for Household and Similar Purposes

Standard GB/T 17885-2016 "Electromechanical Contactors for Household and Similar Purposes"(hereinafter referred to as Standard of new edition) for compulsory certification of electromechanical contactor products for household and similar purposes has been issued on Feb.,24,2016,and implemented on Sep.,1,2016,to substitute standard GB 17885-2009(hereinafter referred to as Standard of old edition).Now we make certain statement as of CCC certification products for electromechanical contactor products for household and similar purposes execute Standard of new edition as follows:
1.From this day,Standard of new edition will be used by the notified body for CCC certification,and the CCC certification certificates of Standard of new edition shall be issued accordingly.CCC certification certificates of Standard of old edition will not issued any more.
2.For those products which has obtained certification certificates of Standard of old edition,since the date of announcement,the certificate holders shall submit us the application of upgrading certificates to Standard of new edition after the implementing of this standard and prior to the next follow-up inspection,submit samples for type test if necessary.The validation of products of Standard of new edition will be completed,and the CCC certification certificates of Standard of new edition will be issued if they pass the test.If the upgrading of CCC certification certificates of Standard of old edition are not to be finished within specified date,the certificates of Standard of old edition will be suspended up to withdrawn.
3.The upgrading of CCC certification certificates are not required for those certificated products which have been transported out of the factory,put into the markets and will not be produced any more before Sep.,1,2016.
