Announcement on Issuing the Implementation Rules of China Compulsory Product Certification for Electric Bicycle

According to the “Decision on Adjusting the Management Catalogue of Production Permit for Industrial Products and Trial on Simplifying Approval Procedures Issued by China State Council”, No. 34 issued by China State Council in 2017, the electric bicycle products will be managed by implementing the China compulsory product certification (hereinafter referred to as “CCC certification”) instead of the production permit. The “Implementation Rules of China Compulsory Product Certification Electric Bicycle” (CNCA-C11-16：2018, hereinafter referred to as “the implementation rules”) is hereby issued, which will be implemented since Aug. 1, 2018.
Relevant designated CCC certification bodies shall formulate the detailed rules of corresponding China product certification based on the implementation rules and the issued requirements on issued general implementation rules of China compulsory product certification, and put on records to CNCA before carrying out relevant CCC certification activities in specified fields.
