Announcement on Compulsory Certification Implementation Standards of New Edition for Motorcycle Products GB14622-2016 & GB18176-2016
The national standards "Standard GB14622-2016 Limits and Measurement Methods for Emissions from Motorcycle(CHINA Ⅳ)" & "Standard GB18176-2016 Limits and Measurement Methods for Emissions from Mopeds(CHINA Ⅳ)" have been issued on Aug.,22,2016.
To guarantee the effective implementation of the certification system for compulsory products, as well as "CNCA—C11—02:2014 Implementation Rules for Compulsory Certification of Motor Vehicles Motorcycle"(http://china-ccc-certification.com/96.html) & "CNCA—C11—03：2014 Implementation Rules for Compulsory Certification of POWER-DRIVEN VEHICLES Motorcycle Engine"(http://china-ccc-certification.com/98.html),thisimplementation requirement is hereby formulated in accordance with related provisions of "Notice on Related Issues of Compulsory Certification for Products at the Time of Revising the Standards,No.18 Guoren Kelian,2005" & "Announcement on Related Requirements for Revision of Standards for Product Compulsory Certification,No.4,2012 by CNCA",as well as the technical resolution determined by the TC12 experts:

2.Implementation of standards GB14622-2016 & GB18176-2016
1) CCC new application will be accepted since Jan.1,2017,and certification certificates of standards of new edition will be issued according to GB14622-2016 & GB18176-2016.Meanwhile,application submitted by applicant according to standards of old edition GB14622-2007 & GB18176-2007 may also be accepted,and certification certificates of standards of old edition will be issued accordingly.
2) The applicant must apply the application according to GB14622-2016 & GB18176-2016 since Jul.1,2018,and certification certificates of standards of new edition will be issued only.
3) For those motorcycle and moped products,which have been certified according to standards of old edition,their certification certificates shall be cancelled by the enterprise before Jul.1,2019.Otherwise,the certification certificates of standards of old edition will be withdrawn.
4) For vehicle engine products meet the emission of CHINA Ⅳ standard,GB14621-2011 is no longer as the type test basis,their certification implementation period can refer to those of vehicle products.For those certified engine products meet the emission of CHINA Ⅲ standard,their certification certificates will be disposed as those of certified motorcycle and moped products according to standards of old edition.
